The Highwood, located at Port Imperial, is the "perfect blend of deliciously unique cuisine spurred from classics that have been reimagined," its website says.
Head Chef Nicholas Karoly's was a whole animal butcher at Fleisher’s Craft Butchery and has managed several high-end steakhouse.
The menu includes appetizers, burgers, chicken sandwiches, salmon, steak, seafood, roasted veggies and -- for dessert -- pies, deep-fried Oreos, ice cream and more.
